Liked Atami, the hotel was beautiful nowhere near to the city center of Atami. The location was decent, just a short walk away from Kinomiya Shrine. What's more, it was next to the mountain and nearest convenience store🙂👍

I recently stayed for a weekend getaway at a lovely hotel nestled in a quiet hilly neighborhood. I appreciated the calming atmosphere. My spacious room had amazing views, and the public bath area was impeccably clean, featuring thoughtful amenities like a hairdryer and curler. The complimentary cold drink after the onsen was a good surprise, and I must say, the breakfast—especially the steak—was utterly delicious. The staff were friendly, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.
I can just recommend this hotel.

This hotel has a fantastic hilltop location, making it easy to walk down to the plum grove or catch the train. The rooms are spacious and feature tatami floors with low-profile beds, creating a comfy, traditional feel. I loved the hot spring and unique breakfast options. Plus, the self-check-in process was smooth, with English options available.
The parking area is a bit tricky to find.

The hotel itself is beautiful, and my room was super spacious with amazing amenities. The public bath was fantastic, and the staff were friendly overall. I also enjoyed the quiet neighborhood; it's a nice escape from the hustle and bustle. Plus, they have shuttle service to and from Kinomiya station, which made my arrival a bit easier!
My experience wasn’t all great. The reception staff were quite rude and unhelpful, which really soured my visit. I had trouble finding parking and the entrance was confusing, plus there was no one to help carry my luggage. I didn’t get to enjoy the views that were promised in the photos; my room had none! Really disappointing overall.

Despite the uphill walk from the train station, the beautiful surroundings and proximity to the plum garden were worth it. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

The breakfast was tasty and filling. The room was accurately represented in the photos, and the balcony had a relaxing tub. The provided yukata was cozy. The onsen was clean and rejuvenating. The location was decent if you have a car to get around the city.
Getting to the hotel without a car was a struggle since it was located up a steep hill. There were no restaurants or convenience stores nearby;
